I don't get why people (well Filipinos for that matter or maybe just Cagayanons) say FB /ef-bi/ when it has the same syllables with saying "facebook".
Unless they're typing it to save on space or energy, I don't really find any sense to it. Same kinda goes with friendster being now called /ef-es/ and I guess only because people say /ef-bi/ a lot.
I kinda find it baduy (lol! sorry) but I guess it's another way to classify people like say a demographic or like a personal caste.
So which are you? Do you say FB or do you say facebook?
Looking forward for twitter to be fully used by people and I'm crossing my fingers. I wouldn't wanna hear people say "Hey! What's your T-W-T-R?"
